The role of diesel generator radiator is very important, so we should pay more attention to the maintenance of radiator. What are the matters needing attention in radiator ventilation today.

       Air inlet baffles and shutters should be able to adjust the gas flow during operation (e.g., the shutter assembly with narrow blades has greater resistance than the wide blade assembly).

　　When the diesel generator set is stopped in alpine climate, the automatic switch should close the inlet and outlet, and the constant temperature regulating valve should be partially opened to allow part of the air to be recycled to reduce the amount of cold air inhalation. All inlet and outlet switch valves should be opened when diesel generator sets start: cycle control valves should be closed when temperature is higher than 60 F(16℃.

　    In addition to the high and cold climate machine room allowed to recycle the use of cooling air flow, the rest of the ventilation air flow should be discharged directly outside the room, strictly prohibited to heat other rooms (except generator room).

　　 The radiator must use elastic pipe joints to absorb diesel generator displacement and vibration to prevent noise propagation.

The baffle should be added to reduce fan noise and weaken the adverse effect of external wind force.
