    Precautions for the Use of Generator Water Tank

  •    When the radiator boiling, do not blindly open the cover to prevent burns. The correct way is: idle for a while before extinguishing the generator, when the temperature of the generator, radiator pressure drop before unscrew the water tank cover.

            Cover the lid with a towel or cloth when unscrewed, to prevent hot water, steam spray on the face, body. Do not head to the water tank looking down, unscrew and quickly remove hands, when there is no hot gas, steam, then remove the water tank cover, to prevent scalding.

             It is not recommended to change cooling water frequently, because after a period of use of cooling water, minerals have been precipitated, unless the water is already dirty, may block the pipeline and radiator, do not easily replace. Because even if the newly replaced cooling water is softened, it still contains certain minerals.

              These minerals will be deposited in the water jacket and other places to form scale, the more frequent the water exchange, the more minerals precipitated, the thicker the scale, so the cooling water should be replaced regularly according to the actual situation. The cooling line should be cleaned when replaced, and the cleaning liquid can be made of caustic soda, kerosene and water. At the same time maintain the water switch, timely replacement of damaged switches, can not be replaced by bolts, sticks, rags and so on.

           Before engine flameout, if engine temperature is very high, do not stop immediately to release water. First remove the load, make it idle operation, when the water temperature drops to 40-50℃ before releasing water.

             The outside surface temperature of the cylinder block, cylinder head and water jacket that prevent contact with water suddenly drops and shrinks sharply because of sudden discharge of water, while the temperature inside the cylinder block is still very high and the shrinkage is small, so it is easy to cause cracks in the cylinder block and cylinder head because of the excessive temperature difference inside and outside.
